Can it be done without spillage?
All drillings undertaken will produce residual loss from the pipes. There is a cavity within the drilling rig which will hold around a cup full
Do I need to shut down the system?
No! the system can remain running at all times. The works can be undertaken under full pressure and flow
Do I have to drain it?
No! Because we do it under pressure the system can remain running at all times
Are any hot works required?
There is no reason for hot works permit to be required. The is only required when we are contracted to weld the stabbing to the pipe. In most cases we will arrive on site with a mechanical clamp to which our rig is attached. The clamp is a permanent fixture.
What materials can be drilled?
All common pipe materials can be drilled. However confirmation with our technical sales team is recommended
Can it be done on fuels?
Again we can under pressure drill most pipelines, however to be certain please direct all questions in relation to this to our technical sales team.
